WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
We can cater for gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan and nut free. However, due to the risk of cross-contact, we cannot guarantee our products are suitable for anaphylaxis. Customers with severe allergies must contact us directly before ordering.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY?
Your safety is our priority. If you have a food allergy, please follow these steps when ordering from LOAF:
Before ordering: Always contact us directly (phone or email) to discuss your allergy. Notes left in online systems (Shopify, Uber Eats, DoorDash etc.) are not guaranteed to be seen in time.
Check menus carefully: While we highlight common allergens where possible, not all allergens are listed online. Speak with a staff member if you are unsure.
Communicate clearly: Tell staff about your allergy every time you order, even if you have ordered safely before. If staff are uncertain, they will check ingredients with the kitchen before proceeding.
Understand risks: All food is prepared in kitchens handling gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, sesame, seafood and other allergens. Cross-contact is always a possibility, and we cannot guarantee allergen-free food.
Make careful choices: Choose simpler dishes with fewer ingredients (e.g. grilled meats, salads without dressings) to reduce risk. Avoid sharing food, cutlery or drinks with others.
For severe allergies (anaphylaxis): We recommend avoiding ordering via third-party platforms and contacting us directly. In some cases, if your request cannot be safely met, we may need to cancel your order for your protection.

DISCLAIMER: Restaurants in Australia are not legally required to list all allergens on menus. It is always the customer’s responsibility to speak directly with staff and confirm whether a dish is safe before ordering.
